Rodney Smeester

Rodney comes from a large family, with 6 siblings, and has lived in Santa Barbara County since 1972. Graduating from UCSB with a Physics degree, and gaining early work experience as an Electrical Engineer with Delco, it wasn't long before Rodney was in a Managerial position.

Delco was sold to General Dynamics who decided to close the plant and move. It was time for a change in careers. Always a student, Rodney took this opportunity to earn an MBA. He used this business and financial training to guide consumers through the difficult tax code as an enrolled agent in tax accounting, and tax preparation. H and R Block used his tax expertise as a teacher of tax basics to the new agents.

Central Coast Landmark Properties needed a bookkeeper, tax preparer and office manager. Rodney's financial background filled all those vacancies. He was also an integral part in helping CCLP agents move to the forefront of numerous successful Short Sale closings, assisting with the various banking institutions, and saving our clients from foreclosure.

Rodney obtained his Real Estate license in July of 2013, as a full time Broker Associate. This was a natural transition after managing and assisting more than 10 agents. Known for his funny, kind, and generous spirit, Rodney is there to help his clients find the home of their dreams, or sell a home that no longer fits their lifestyle. Rodney hit the ground running and in a very short amount of time he has successfully closed millions of dollars in sales. Rodney is an avid golfer and is a current member of the Alisal Golf Club.
